Earlier this month, NBAF shared the exciting news of our new San Francisco office and four new members who recently joined Nicoll Black Altenbrun & Feig. Today, we’re thrilled to announce that three additional attorneys have joined our growing firm: Nicholas Kim, Deniz Perkowski, and Camille Zuber.

Each brings exceptional experience and unique expertise to our firm:

• Camille Zuber holds LL.M.s from Berkeley Law School (Environmental Law) and University of Oslo (Maritime Law). Fluent in French, Italian, and German, Camille is an experienced maritime and civil defense litigator. Combining her environmental and maritime backgrounds, she has developed particular expertise in alternative fuels in the maritime industry – their risks, benefits, and regulatory frameworks. • Deniz Perkowski earned her LL.M. in Admiralty & Maritime Law from Tulane Law School. She is an experienced litigator in maritime law, insurance coverage and bad faith, and insurance defense, representing a wide array of clients in the maritime and insurance sectors. Deniz is licensed in California, New York, and Turkey, and is active in numerous industry trade associations. She is based in California. Learn more about Deniz here.
• Nicholas Kim earned his undergraduate degree from University of Hawaii and his J.D. from Seattle University. He is an experienced insurance coverage attorney, with substantial experience in contractual and extracontractual liability, primary/excess disputes, subrogation, and bad faith. NBAF attorney Sarah Davenport co-presented at the Northwest Insurance Law Seminar on the topic of first party condominium water loss claims. Sarah’s presentation provided an overview of recent caselaw on this topic, with special focus on ensuing loss provisions, their application, and limitations. The seminar was sponsored by The Seminar Group.
