Personal Narrative

Nicholas joined Nicoll Black Altenbrun & Feig in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, his practice focused on insurance coverage and other complex litigation, involving subrogation, personal injury, and toxic torts. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts, handling all aspects of pre- and ongoing litigation. Across those roles, Nicholas developed the ability to navigate risk in high-stakes environments.

Nicholas earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2020, as the fourth member in his family to graduate from the school. During his time there, he interned at the Moderate Means Program, helping expand access to civil legal services for moderate-income individuals in family, housing, and consumer law matters.

Born and raised on the island of Oʻahu, Nicholas received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
