Personal Narrative

Sarah joined Nicoll Black Altenbrun & Feig in 2025. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith disputes involving both personal and commercial lines, and she is an experienced litigator in all aspects of litigation in both state and federal courts.

Sarah graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in History in 2006, and obtained her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2012 where she was a Lead Article Editor of the Seattle Journal of Environmental Law. While in law school, Sarah served as a legal intern in the Predatory Lending Clinic where she worked with low-income clients facing foreclosure to find alternative mortgage options. Sarah also served as a legal extern with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office, Regional Services Division, where she represented the Department of Social and Health Services in dependency hearings in juvenile court. Sarah also has experience in creditor’s rights, debt collection, and public records disclosure.
