Personal Narrative

Matt obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, and his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Whitman College.  During law school, he served as an extern for the Honorable Ronald B. Leighton, Federal District Court Judge for Western Washington.  

Matt recently represented a foreign insurance client in the U.S. portion of a nine-figure coverage dispute. 

Matt also has significant appellate experience, representing and advising clients in matters before the Washington Court of Appeals and Washington State Supreme Court.

Matt is admitted to practice law in Washington State and in both federal district courts of the state.  In his free time, Matt enjoys golf, skiing and spending time with friends and family.
